The forum software is being upgraded today. Don’t be alarmed when you see changes to the background and colors. The new software won’t be using the same theme as the old software. You might experience some problems during the transition but they should clear up once the upgrade is complete. Thanks everyone

I was surprised when I first logged on and thought I had gone somewhere else, but I love the blue, it is a nice change and I feel that most of us need a bit of change at the moment. Colour certainly is a way to change the energy; as usual your ideas work great... and appreciated.

I’m glad to hear that you love the blue. I agree it’s a nice change. Also members should like a couple of the new features like forum jump at the bottom of the page and members can have custom user titles now. They can go into their profile and change Hyperspace Warrior to something else if they desire.  I noticed one inconvenience is some members lost their avatars during the transition. They will need to pick one again. Sorry about that.

I'm using the "Sea" theme (green with shell icons) and really like it. Actually I LOVE, Love, Love the Sea theme! I love the new look... hello WoWUltra!

What are the avatar guidelines for this new forum? Would love to have 160x320 or 160x400 avatars, i would be designing them all day

I’m glad to hear everyone likes the upgrade. I see some members discovered they can choose a theme that they like. I forgot to mention that members can go into their preferences and choose a theme. I just added another one called Mystic that some members might like. I might be adding more later.

The notify me button isn’t included in this version of software. The quick reply we had on the old version was a mod that I installed. The quick reply in this software is included but they don’t have the notify me button. You’ll have to use the full reply if you want to be notified. Full reply is faster now because the forum is with a faster more reliable server. Or you can check it in your preferences that you want to be notified by e-mail when replies are posted to topics you participated in.

I like the new format too - blue is very refreshing. What exactly do you mean by "preferences" - I still only know very basic moves and am not fluent in "computer-speak"

I’m glad you like the upgrade. Near the top of the forum you can click on My Account and there you’ll see more buttons. One of the buttons is labeled Preferences.
