Hey,

I really want to know the mind-pattern for artists. More specifically, people who can act, draw, dance, paint, sculpture, or sing and cause others to feel emotions like wonder, fear, happiness, and sadness?

The reason I ask is because I want to be a real artist.

Practice seems to take forever because I don't have that much time. Most importantly, I am no longer between the ages of 1 to 12 where learning anything is easy. I would REALLY appreciate it if anyone can give me their thoughts, reasons, or even guesses for the mind-patterns that can propel one to become a "sensual artist." I am not talking about my archetypical arts which do not create emotions like happiness and sadness, but the more popular forms of art that does. I hope this makes sense.

I posted this countless times on the Expansions forum, but Stewart never wanted to reply to that question. Thanks all.

It's all about creative self-expression.  The Creation of realities is the art of God-Mind.  We create mini-realities/fantasies to replicate that energy.

All you have to do is find some way to take what is in you and bring it out in a unique manner.  Get some paper or canvas, and some paints, crayons, coloured pencils - whatever.  Start drawing/doodling and see what comes up.  Don't be upset if you don't like.  Just paint over it!  I often don't like my artwork until it is finished, and I always start with basic concepts.

Maybe choose a frequency you want to explroe, and see if you are drawn to making certain shapes, colour combinations etc.  You can keep it more 'abstract' at first while you experiment, and over time you'll find your own style emerging.

Just keep trying - don't give up if you don't like something.  It is all part of self-expression.  It may take a while to get over your fears and blocks, but you'll get there. :D

Start with what you can do already.  You are good at archetypes - why not try making them with paints instead of a computer?  Combining them in unique ways.  Or maybe you could draw an archetype sentence on ytour paper, and then paint over it - see what comes up.

Sometiems I like to use 'kids' art supplies because they make me feel more open-minded and lighthearted.  Glitter glue pens, metallic felt tips, collage... etc.  Use any materials available! :D

Thanks Monica. It's not that easy for me. So the mind-pattern is self-expression? Does this come from high self-esteem? Or the need to know one's self?

Well, it's about finding a way to discover who you are by seeing what you create.  Use pale orange energy to help.  You are fulfilling the part of you that needs to have independant thought that is actualised in the world.  Creativity and Truth are both the same colour code - so yes, you find the Truth of who you are by what you create.  No-one can create what you do in exactly the same, yet we are all inspired by God-Mind.

You dont need High Self-esteem at all.   You dont even have to think that your an artist........  However, when you start to just let yourself go, when you start to just be creative, then you feel something inside you......  You feel a closeness to something, you feel like you can explain a very technical or unexplainable dream, but with your art.........   But you wont feel that unless you let go and just explore your creative side.....  Its your mind babies you let loose......   You have to just let go and do it!  mmmmmmm  I should follow my own advise............

I must wholeheartedly agree with both Monica and William in this.

Aye! Take what motivates you, take that which moves you from the heart, take that which provokes your mind to expand in an upward manner, take anything which you find resonates within your self. Whatever it may be that you decide to set your focus on; reach out and express the 'rhythmn' - it may begin as a swirl or splash of colour - or a wave of abstract design. Whatever it is that you first create, continue to follow it up in whatever way you feel - rather than think. Don't try to 'control' it - just let it flow....

Don't be afraid of...undesireable forces taking any 'interest' in this new endeavour - you already have the knowledge which alerts you and of that which will serve to cover you in that respect...Use what you need to beforehand etc & so on.  :wink2:

If you would like to tell us what it is you wish to 'create' (i.e. which medium/s you wish to use for what type of artwork you would like to produce) Myself and others may be able to help with advice regarding the practical aspects.

Most of all - read those posts above this one again! You'll find you can't go far wrong!

As for the (required?) mind pattern - it seems to me that you already have that.  It may be the case that you need to realise and accept it...

If I had to set a one-word definition for this - I might choose to use the word : 'freedom'.  The realisation of the sheer limitlessness of the very act of creative self-expression alone is enough to give one the space required to spread those wings.

Go fly, SilverInfinity!  :D

Thank you everyone.

Xan-i, I think you are right in terms of mind-patterns:

If I had to set a one-word definition for this - I might choose to use the word : 'freedom'.  The realisation of the sheer limitlessness of the very act of creative self-expression alone is enough to give one the space required to spread those wings.

When many blacks were enslaved or in poverty they made much music. Therefore, I believe the freedom of self-expression and experiencing all the senses is the mind-pattern that propels one to become a "sensual artist" (one who creates arts that can influence people's emotions).

What excellent advice you have all given to SI - freedom and just let go to create.  As one who also has difficulty with artistic expression I will be following this thread.

i know what started me was the desire to progress and lean and advance myself metally spiritually and emotionally. it was that, plus the decision to do something creative that others would enjoy and support too, not just for myself, but for myself first with oothers behind me.

i started drawing early on, then sharpening my skills at colouring inking, storywriting etc. it was fun but wasn't what i was looking for. so i picked up music. immediately upon purchasing a bass guitar i fknew i had found my outlet. working with some of my closest friend s we wrote some of the best music i've ever heard. even though it was very simple, it was great. now i still feel that need to work outside the box. living in a world where everythign is controlled by evil on one level or another is reason enough for me to express myself any way i see fit. it feels appropriate to go agasint the grain even creatively due to teh fact that so much of what is already out there is basically reptilian plans anyways.

practicing does take a while... i played after highscool every night until it was time to go to bed. so like 6 ahours daily for kone full year, after that i got my start with the band it was a less intense practice but lots more time overall devoted to it. if you don't make yourself time to try thigns out and learn about yourself through somethign creative you will just miss your opprotunities. go for it, start up doing somethign, you'll see what you want to do will start to emerge.

a few mind patterns:

need for creative self expression

need to live outside of the outpictured box

decisions to do thigns for yourself, rather than have others do it for you

enjoyment of said artistic ideas

finding yourself iin creativce thigns is always another tell tale sign.

apperently also isolation has been a huge part of it throughout the years, same with segregation and slavery liek you said.

i think one of the main things is being a minority. you could be a negative minority liek the blacks were percieved as. one of the not-cool kids or whatever throughout your growing years. usually it's these peopel that also do the most for themselves, unique amoungst other groups. now to remove the negative cconnotations and integrate all the "stand for yourself" ideas. ithat's the way, i'm sure!

Diego José

as a kid i always sang along to all music i'd hear, i was great at singing right away.

Hey Diego-Jose

Those were brilliant posts!  I agree with you that isolation can be a factor in creative advancement.  It gives you time to define yourself from within, and then bring yuor new ideas forth into the world. :)

6 hours practice a day.... now that is when you know you are passionate about something!! :D  I think music 24/7 pretty much.  It's never out of my head. :)

Isolation can be helpful, but only in small doses.

Yes, of course (isolation in small doses...) :D  It is a fine balance between connecting deeper to God-Mind in your own space, and feeling abandonment/seperation from God-Mind through a closed lifestyle.

Diego José, you put here a very good list.

Creative people are the real souls where God-Mind is made of.

An artist is a micro-God who enjoys everything, the hyperspace visualizations are all a big art in itself.
