Hello All...

I've mentioned already that I am working on setting up music group lessons for children, that combines my traditional music knowledge with toning and expressive movement.  I am fortunate that I have done a lot of childcare work in my area, (giving me a good reputation with kids), and there are people who are already interested in this idea.  However, it still feels like a big and lonely hurdle to jump to really get this off the ground.

I know that it is best for me to do it myself, but I also have to deal with occasionally feeling despondent and hopeless; not really believing that I am capable of it all.  I have to investigate advertising in newspapers, and hiring a venue, plus organising a schedule and writing lesson plans!  I have never done anything like before in my life!  I am starting with almost no financial backing, and no official credentials or prior experience in business or teaching (though I have taught my own voice for two years with profound results).

A part of me says that people aren't really going to be interested, or I'll not have enough information and experience to share - but I know that is my sabotage alter speaking up. :)  However, I thought I would start a journal here to discuss my progress and get feedback and encouragement from people who know about Hyperspace work, and the difficulties of actively working through mind-pattern blocks. :big grin:  I'd also appreciate ideas of how to include metaphysical thoughts into the classes in a manner children will understand, and that won't panic the parents!!!

Figuring it all out is a challenge, but I really want to succeed at this because I know it will be a solid foundation for moving on with my life, and also increasing my own musical self-worth and enhanced self-expression.

This is the current bio and blurb I made about myself and the classes.  Comments welcome.... :smile2: :smile2: :smile2:

Bio:

I have 15 years performing experience, and 8 years of formal vocal training.  In addition, I played cello from the age of 9, learnt basic piano skills, music theory up to university level, and have participated in numerous workshops and masterclasses with the best of NZ and International tutors.  For the past two years I have been a self-taught singer, drawing on my previous training and combining techniques from other musical and artistic centres.  These include body movement and expression for opening the voice, Toning (a form of vocal release and therapy that relates to many Native musical traditions), exploring sounds outside the usual singing repertoire, and analyzing the effect of mental and emotional states out-pictured in the voice on self-expression, confidence, and self-worth.  More recently I have explored unconventional methods of composing, and I enjoy writing poetry and music that reflects my personal experiences.

Purpose:

The purpose of these proposed classes is to encourage children to find their own personal sound and way of expressing themselves, which can carry through into all aspects of their daily lives.  Imprinting the ability to develop ideas for themselves as artists in their own right, gives each individual a sense of self-validation and belief in their capacity to contribute worthwhile thoughts to the class.  This would be based on a combination of spontaneous vocalising and movement, along with guided exercises.  The children will have opportunities to create their own musical/performance pieces, using their own words and direction.  All they need to bring to the class are active minds and voices!

Ok... I am feeling quite pleased with myself now. :)  I have made neccessary enquiries for placing adverts in the classifieds of a local weekly paper, and regional/national daily publication. :D    Plus I have names of venues to contact.  I just had to write that down to remind myself I'm making progress! :big grin:

You are doing amazing work. That is excellent!!!

I'd also appreciate ideas of how to include metaphysical thoughts into the classes in a manner children will understand, and that won't panic the parents!!!

Use your charm!

I am not really an expert for children, but, I think you should tell them only the thruth they want to hear. Through creative games and playing, using colors, poetry and allegorical meanings adapted for their age. Every parents couple is unique with
more or less different belief system. You should somehow adapt to this.

There are always many ways how we can do or say something, some are better, and some are so not good.

Ah...you are smart and creative and you will find the way.

This is great news!  I am afraid I don't have any advice right now, but I can cheer you on and say it is very cool that you are doing it!  :big grin:

I'm chiming in on the cheering!! :o)

I can see this happening--the vocal school, etc. I still think you can be a great solo artist in this world though. Don't give up but take all the necessary steps you need.

Maybe I'll sign up for a class with you!!

I wouldnt mind!! I'd be happy to learn from you.

I might have to start a new path for myself as well...and I can imagine how its scary for the both of us. I don't think we can go wrong if we follow our hearts. We can make it happen.

So, you are moving from Usa to NZ? Maybe good idea in the future would be invent E-Monica music school. Something like E-learning centers. For international students.

Hi Monica - this is a wonderful plan and I wish you all success with it.  You obviously have a great rapport with children already - what ages will you be working with?

At the moment the initial classes will be for children 3-10 years, though probably in different groups.  I have many more ideas though:

* Adult classes that focus more on actual singing (one on one lessons) and self-healing/expression (groups).

* Parent and child (including in utero) to see what tones and movement can enhance the confidence, understanding, and learning of both.

* Young Adult classes for exploring independant thought through music

* Tonefiles of specific exercises for various ages that are loaded onto a website and available for (paid) download so people can make their own CD/MP3 formatted compilation.

* Weekly articles/newsletters to introduce the theme of each week, and a forum for feedback and discussion.

* Recordings of student tones/compositions published as a CD

* working with professional musicians and actors/performers to develop deeper awareness of their craft and Self.

* One day I'd like to give lectures/seminars on my information... :big grin:

*** Voice profiles: using name/birthdate frequencies - giving specific exercises and information regarding programming, self-healing, communication issues etc. This I could do straight away I guess - I'll just have to organise what goes in the profiles and what to charge....  This is an immediate possibility.

*** Online or phone consultations: because I can work in hyperspace and hear emotional/mental frequencies in people's voices, I don't need to be in person to give singing tuition.  Because the techniques are more accurate and designed for self-development (not continual teacher training), people can have an occasional lesson.  This way I can connect internationally and share my deeper hyperspace work with people.  Anyone who's interested in this - I will start looking into it as soon as possible.  I need to get the physical shool running first, buy a new computer, and set up payment options etc., but I am very keen to offer this service.

PurpleParrot:  I have in no way given up on my solo career.  This came from spending time on the Angelic levels, and wanting to know what the best steps would be to create self-sufficiency, and financial foundation for my career, to improve my own confidence and explore new avenues/ideas/experiences, to follow through with a creative idea, and to give me a power source of information that I can use in my music.  I have had idea like this for a long while, and I always had the intention of starting with physical classes, and then moving into making an online learning centre with a more international focus.

In my consult with Stewart in March i was telling him about my investigations into toning for deprogramming and mind-pattern adjustment, along with hyperspace techniques for singing/musicality, toning specific archetpyes and animal frequencies, and merging traditional western music theory with metaphysics for better understanding.  He asked me to document this (which I haven't exactly started yet), and I think this idea I have is the beginning where I can try ot some of my ideas gently, to help people.

As part of my career I have always wanted to give more than just music to people.  The children I know, I have always wanted to share more with, but I felt I would have to move on with my life so much sooner.  Now I can create something that they can use throughout their lives, and so I can stay conencted with them.  There are some amazing individuals I recognise from other lifelines, and I believe they will one day learn full hyperspace techniques. :)

Hi Monica, please keep us posted about your progress. I think you are a great person for wanting to share more music with the world.

Stewart's right, you know. If you document this, you could shake the world. Think about becoming a renowned author for revolutionizing music.

Hi SilverInfinity

Yeah, I feel the information is going to end up out there in the world changing the status quo. ;)  Meanwhile, I have to document it.... lol

I have some new ideas for offering hyperspace-based services online too.  I will be posting these soon.  I just need to figure out how I can set up to be able to charge payment for the reports, so I can do it on a professional basis.  I looked at my old paypal account, but I think I'd have to upgrade to a business account to let people pay me for a product. I'm not sure what the cost of that would be, and I'm on shoestring already!  :?  Still, I guess Oversoul will keep thing ticking.

I have a name for my music 'school', but it's private for now, until I have the energy more grounded. ;)

If anyone has ideas on how I can set up payment processes to charge for reports and profiles, and not cost me the earth to do it, I'd really appreciate it. :D

What a terrific idea, I have kids who attend several different forms of "expression" classes from dance to drama to singing and painting. All good, but I like the completeness you class would offer. Shame I am not in NZ!

Ahh - interesting ides about the 0900 number.  I hadn't thought of that.  I think I need to develop my ideas a little more first through physical classes, and then move into the online/phone consults.  It gives me a more solid foundation to work from. :D

Yeah - what a shame you aren't here! lol  I am taking my first classes today at a local community hall.  I took a big leap last week and hired the venue, without having done any advertising at that point!  So, over the weekend I have made flyers and posted them up, and contacted a few people I know.  I'll have to see how things turn out... I have been relying more on God-Mind to get this done, so fingers crossed people are listening. :D  I hope it all goes well.  I'm excited to start these classes, because it sets the energy.

The location is great in terms of numerology.  The address is 11 (new cycle), the street name 3 (perfect creativity), the suburb a 9 (God-Mind/Lion frequency), the town an 8 (Oversoul).... and 11 + 3 + 9 + 8 = 31 the mirror of 13, the most powerful number in existence, meaning the totality of God-Mind.  31 = 4/22 for learning and transitions.

I have decided to call this school Big Voices because it is simple, strong, and empowering.  It teaches that we have the power to change and control our reality.  And it's a 10 frequency for God-Mind/New Beginnings. :D

So, prayers and help in hyperspace are helpful... I still haven't had response to my leaflets, and the people who showed interest have not yet confirmed; so I hope I'm not the only person who shows up! :/  It's tough getting things like this started, especially at short notice, but I do feel that it will work out eventually.  Just need some boosting mind-patterns to keep me on top of things.

Heh; I can do my Lioness singing while people walk by anyway as it's close to the street and shopping area. :)  Maybe they'll pop their heads in... and join in!
