Hi Everyone- its been a long time but I still read up on whats happening here. I have a question that was brought up on the Expansions website and I am wondering if anyone has ideas on the topic of Shadow People. I have had an experience with one in the past. IT was a shadow person peeking at me from behind a doorway. My cat saw it first and did the hair stand up , arched back thing. When I looked it retreated out of my sight. Has anyone else had experiences with these beings? Is there something that attracts them to you or are we all being "watched" but only a few have the eyes to see them?

Hello Andrea, You have been missed greatly, there is great debate about who and what are shadow people, for those who have witnessed them they can only be described as translucent but colored by dark shades of purple/maroon and red, if that makes sense, they have the ability to swoosh in and out of things and rarely keep still, they have also been compared to naughty fairies that play games and tricks on people. They are child like and playful and tend to attract animals and small children due to their playful magnetism, yet there is another side to them, they can be very manipulative and aggressive with your energy, they can actually drain you and this is the reason why they are mostly found in the forests where people tend to perform rituals with the moon. I am not an expert on this subject, but the knowledge that I do have of them is the shadow people are a manifestation of the energy produced by the surroundings, so if you live in a heavy forested area, there is a big chance that shadow people exist there, they are the manifestation of the trees and the energy produced in that forest, so you could say they are the ‘trees personality’, If the trees have witnessed black magic or constant ritual, this energy is absorbed into the nature of the tree spirit itself; trees carry great energy and enormous amount of spirit. Sometimes the shadow people will wonder away from the forest and enter the domain of suburbia and then absorb the energy of the ‘concrete forest’. Anyone that has walked in the forest/bush at night will tell you that they felt the energy of some type of personality, they were being watched or felt someone following them, and it is very rare they will expose themselves to you like a human formed spirit. Karen, I thought your answer was interesting too. It reminded me of a recent Dr. Who episode they had about the shadow people. It was called Silence in the Library. Karen, I found your reply interesting as well. I just wonder though if the term Shadow People isn't being used as a blanket term for all shadowy manifestations. Does your answer include the blacker than black ones with the pointed hood cape that seem to drain and temporarily immobilze folks? These shadow people seem to feed off fear literally and when confronted they flee usually.However there is an account of one that ,even though confronted,terrorized a family for years even moving house with them. Some people who have reported these encounters also have seen ghosts and say that they aren't the same. Reportedly there has been a steady increase of Shadow People encounters since the mid '90's. Of course this could very well be attributed to better communications and other modern factors but I wonder if perhaps, due to the cycle the earth is now transiting ,what some are witnessing is a release of accumulated specifically directed negative energies?

Always a pleasure Andrea. Richard, no I have not seen it, is that a new series? The only doctor who I know of was that one way back when, and had that creepy guy in it! MN, I would agree that shadow manifestations are now called shadow people, but I am yet to hear of the ones you mention with hoods, but I have heard of the ones who drain energy and feed off fear, that to me is more of an astral entity, but I do think there is a very thin line between these two currently – the astral and the shadow energies. My personal view is in agreement with what you say MN, I do believe more and more ‘unknown energies/frequencies are manifesting into our dimension through our own collective consciousness being raised to a higher frequency of knowledge, and this also includes the negative that must accompany the positive, universal law always includes both. Many years ago it was said that a person was possessed, but now that possession takes form, so an entity that has latched/attached onto a person can take form of a body, this is way past the knowledge we once knew of shape shifting from genetic structure, this is where the possession takes life form while attached to a living person, this is another area that is increasing. Interesting stuff, everyone.

Karen, I was of the feeling and belief that these darker than black hooded are astral manifestations as well. I do agree that there are those that are that thin line you mentioned as well. Well said Karen. The negative must accompany the postive. Negative seems to be usually seen as bad and positive as good. This interpretation does us a disservice me thinks.

MN, You and I are cheese and crackers! Once again I totally agree with you and the misconception of positive –good, negative-bad. I think of negative as challenge, energy that creates us to extend who we are and grow spiritually and mentally, because without challenges we would never evolve or develop, and if you grasp the positive while enduring the ‘challenge’ you usually come out of it wiser and a better person. Avatar, I am sure if we took a journey around the globe we would find shadow people that have manifested from each individual environment, I have not heard of the owl shadow people, but it makes complete sense because rituals have been performed in the UK for eons, and the owl has long been seen as a mystic creature to both worlds. The morphic people definitely sound astral, and there is a difference, even though it is very debatable. The astral energies have a desire to live in the physical world, and definitely would communicate with anyone initiating such a connection, but the shadow energies do not carry the same desire because they are a manifestation of nature, and this will only change if the manifestation is from ‘dark’ forest. I live next to a forest, and it is a very relaxed energy, the only thing that would put fear in me at night would be the thought of walking through a big spider web! Ewww. I love the bush and if you listen hard enough you can hear the communication going on between the trees. Richard, I will take a look at that episode it looks interesting, I don’t think we have it here, but sounds like you enjoy it.

I have recently in the last couple of weeks. As I'm working on the computer at home or watching TV. I see something out of the side view of my eyes. My dogs will start barking or lift there heads like there looking for something. My dogs have been sitting very close if not on top of me here recently. That's unusual behavior. I thought maybe it was me.

Sunny, This is not shadow people, sounds like you have a visitor (spirit) in your house, dogs pick up the energy easily as they are more in tune to their senses than we are. This visitor could be someone that you have lost, or just someone attached to your home, you would have to analyze if anything has been happening in your life recently for the visit, there would be a reason.

Very interesting info. The shadow I saw was definitely observing me. It seemed sneaky but not malevolent. I haven't seen one since. By the way, I was heavily into the Tarot and metaphysical things at that time .

Perhaps what you seen Andrea was an entity, this is very common when involved in tarot or other forms of ‘readings’, I am not saying tarot are bad, I know some extraordinary tarot readers, however the tarot reader must guard herself/himself greatly against what people bring in, and because most people do tarot from home, this is where the problem starts. Many people visit tarot readers, clairvoyants etc because they have issues and these issues attract dark entities which accompany them. You would first have to look at the energy you received when this shadow was around you, did it feel dark, lost or none of the above, because you seen and felt it you are the only one who could actually be accurate with what its business was.
