I woke up around 3:00 AM this morning with an awful headache. The nerves along my spine from the base up into my head felt inflamed. I had a hard time going back to sleep. The headache had not subsided when I got up later. It was worse. I saw this earthquake alert in my email box this evening and have to wonder. UTC is +5 hours to my time. EARTHQUAKE on 08/02/2008 at 09:38 (UTC) NORTHERN MID-ATLANTIC RIDGE 1286 km NE Jenipapo MAGNITUDE: Mw 6.9 I was not the only one in this house who had sleep problems last night. Was the ELF knob turned up early this morning?
