You can enlarge the fascinating picture and read the rest of the story at Hubble's link:

http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/archive/releases/2007/37

A powerful jet from a supermassive black hole is blasting a nearby galaxy, according to new data from NASA observatories. This never-before witnessed galactic violence may have a profound effect on planets in the jet's path and trigger a burst of star formation in its destructive wake. Known as 3C 321, the system contains two galaxies in orbit around each other. Data from NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory show both galaxies contain supermassive black holes at their centers, but the larger galaxy has a jet emanating from the vicinity of its black hole. The smaller galaxy apparently has swung into the path of this jet. This "death star galaxy" was discovered through the combined efforts of both space and ground-based telescopes. NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory, Hubble Space Telescope, and Spitzer Space Telescope were part of the effort. The Very Large Array (VLA) in Socorro, N.M., and the Multi-Element Radio Linked Interferometer Network (MERLIN) telescopes in the United Kingdom also were needed for the finding.

Galactic bullying caught on film!!!  Holy moly!

"The telescope images show the bully galaxy shooting a stream of deadly radiation particles into the lower section of the other galaxy, which is about one-tenth its size. Both are about 8.2 billion trillion miles from here, orbiting around each other."

Yikes!  Stay away from us!

"Tens of millions of stars, including those with orbiting planets, are likely in the path of the deadly jet, said study co-author Martin Hardcastle of the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom."

Tens of millions of stars and orbiting planets.. in the path of the 'death ray'.  :frown:

Sily, it is said that what is seen in outerspace is the past; the further out, the further in the past.  ;)

Good catch, William!  :dude:

I wonder what's behind that jet coming out of the black hole; what it's source is.

From Nasa:  "The massive influx of energy and radiation from the jet could induce the formation of large numbers of stars and planets after its initial wake of destruction is complete."

Neat!  Creationism in action!  Hey Polly and William... you think the "action" of the destruction and then creation of new planets might be "god" or the "creator" of the universe here?  A "force" that goes around zapping millions of planets at once and creating change?  Maybe it's not a "Death Star" we are seeing but a "Life Star"?  Or am I being too optimistic?  :P

That is amazing!!!    It's massive!  And I think it happened a million years ago?

Come on, Sily, let's figure out a way to get those buffoons to let us look through their Hubble telescope.   It's all amazing out there, no matter where you look.  This event is 1.4 billion light years from Earth.

I was just over at Expansions and someone asked Stewart about this and his reply was that it is false news because black holes do not do this and it's part of the staged alien invasion scenario.

Anyone have any clue as to how this fits in with the imitation alien invasion? I don't get it.

Well, Its false Information and its also a Nightmare if anyone believes it.  Its like, Hey a black hole could open up light years from us and then Blow us away.     So those that may think on it would be filled with fear and fear strengthens Programs of negative intent.   I dont really see why Nasa would stand behind such a tale?  They did teach us that Black holes have gravity so large that it can suck a planet or Galaxies down to the size of a  pin head!!!!  Its almost like them telling us that one day milk is good for us then the next day telling us milk is bad for us.  Makes us think there is no right answer...   It makes me wonder if we sent a movie camera the size of a pin head which we have into a black hole would it still reduce it down to a size of a pin head?  That does not compute....  any body still reading this?  :ninja:

Also ive seen the movie blackHole.

Okay, let me offer a different view...

I think I understand what Stewart is saying when he says:

"Stewart's Reply: This news is false. Black holes simply do NOT do this. It is part of the staged alien invasion scenario."

.....at least this is my interpretation of his reply - - ->  Death Star was used in the original article.  Using those words (Death Star)  may pique the interest of, or trigger,  those with Greenstar or Star Wars programming.  Per Wikipedia "Death Star" is:

The Death Star is one of the better-known concepts from the Star Wars universe and is widely recognizable outside of that context. It is frequently referenced in other mass media, even when the context is radically different. Television shows, movies, and games that refer to the Death Star include Clerks, Newsradio, Muppet Babies, Futurama, Lost, Seinfeld, Family Guy, Life on Mars, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, The Fairly Oddparents, Pinky and the Brain, Farscape, Tripping the Rift, Twister, Ogame, AstroEmpires, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

Also... the whole story is about an "invasion" of one  ...to another neighboring galaxy.  You've got your "invasion scenario" right there we are being desensitized to.  It's kind of like look it's happening here in 3C 321, it can happen to YOU!

I will seriously consider what Stewart says about this and that this information is FALSE.............................

however......................

lol......  :)  .... I do not buy the "black holes to not do this sort of thing" dogma.    Yes, yes............ I know the scientists, schools, universities, books, movies and media say black holes are supposed to do this and that.  It's supposed to be black and white and clear cut.

Sorry, I don't buy it.  I'm not purchasing THAT idea from the Everything We Know About Black Holes Store.  If a black hole decides to shoot a jet from it's center, I say "you go girlfriend!  more power to ya".

Finally, I want to say if some NASA scientist made this story up... I was highly entertained by it, sad to discover I was lied to, but ............... kinda happy I was able to spend a few hours imagining new planets being formed and the source of the "action".  Woo.... I did have some great new worlds planned.

I was hoping someone would come through on this.  Thanks, Sily.  There is a lot about Greenstar and Star Wars programming I do not identify with so sometimes I don't see what is there concerning a staged alien invasion.  I never saw the Star Wars movies either so I don't have that frame of reference.  In fact, I have not seen most of the popular movies over the years.

I don't know about black holes so if this is a false story it was entertaining for me, too.

Well, I love reading what you have to say and also William's thoughts on this.  The next four days is going to be very busy, but hopefully I can return around Dec 26th and discuss further.   Here's a video from ITN talking about the Death Star Black Hole.

Avatar wrote: I understand your P.O.V. Richard, however it is an "official" article, with knowledge derived from TPTB, and they always waffle about their "Western Science", and it is tedious and very repetitive.

So whether a "Gamma Burst" occurs 9.4 billion years ago, 9.4 million years or 940 thousand years ago is ALL simply B.S.

Most "Space Science" through "official channels" is B.S., pure and simple. So it does steer public opinion once again towards "Space", the "Cosmos", the idea of a vastness vacuum, millions of light years across.

Remember TPTB ALSO like to discuss "distance planets" that could be 1 billion years old, 2 billion years old and older, however that is a "veneer" for simply making public opinion aware of "life" out there in the Universe.

So it is part of the STAGED ALIEN INVASION PROGRAMMING and Project Greenstar - either directly or indirectly by TPTB.

Basically ALL "official" Western Science, concerning Outer Space, the Universe and so on, is connected indirectly or directly these days with the Staged Alien Invasion, either directly or indirectly.

Avatar wrote this in another thread but i think it could be written here , hope you dont mind avatar im posting this here!  :)

I'm kind of bummed because I really enjoy pictures from space and that has been turned into something evil, too.  :crybaby:
