NASA today published a forecast for a “big and intense” new solar cycle in 2011 or 2012, which it suggests will wreak havoc on satellite GPS and telecommunications, power grids and air traffic. NASA says the next solar cycle, Solar Cycle 24, “could make itself felt as never before.” We are now at the end of Solar Cycle 23 according to the U.S. space agency. Thanks for this article....as we all know, there are many cycles coming to an end in 2012...hopefully this violent and hateful period of our history will come to a close as our global consciousness shifts. I can see it now....as we look through history we know that changes in thinking have changed countries almost overnight. I forsee a giant change where people are sick of the lies, of the wars, of the hate....we will all wake up and get ready to change things. It will be a beautiful time....December 23rd, 2012. Come on ! Don't take it serious: any "official & happy" NASA comment about 2012 = END-TIME TRIGGERING + STAGED ALIEN TRIGGERING combined for some programmed people (likely new agey)

Yes octahedron, I agree there is so much hype around 2012, as if you can trust what NASA says. The world will not change overnight, how are 5 billion people just going to wake up one day and say “yep this is it”? The world is going to change step by step, storm by storm and year by year, the changes are inevitable, and unless you are superman there is no way to undo what has already begun.

Hi Josh, I admire your intent and trust in the human spirit, but I'm inclined to agree with Octa and Karen on this one; the mess we are in today will take alot more than an 'overnight' to rectify... irrespective of the magnitude of consciencious shift of the human mind. The crap we are in today has in fact taken thousands of years of planning and executing to create. It be impossible to undo over a very short period of time, let alone a week or a month. To me, the year 2012 signifies the initiation year of the changes which need to occur to make effect what you wish overnight. By the time they have all unfolded and taken full effect many more years will have transpired; possibly decades. The year 2012, IMO, is not a transitional year 'in itself' but more the beginning of the transition... simply because there is TOO MUCH to achieve for it to be done in a short period of time. Think of China, Russia, Europe, America, UK, Africa and the rest... and you'll soon see that there is SO MUCH that needs to be accomplished that it will take time to do so. The world is on FIRE Josh, and one fireman simply won't cut it... if you know what I mean.
