A mysterious creature known as "Little Doug" has been generating a lot if interest in the Hull maritime museum. Nobody has yet been able to identify what the creature is, and theories range from a cross breed between a dog and a frog, to mermaids, to some sort of mutant seahorse. A recent article in the local paper has also helped to increase interest in the mystery. Corona Smith: "Well, the Hull Daily Mail article that was so explicit in its revelation of 'Little Doug' has done wonders for attendance to the museum. Literally hundreds have been pouring through the doors, with more than a little help from the rain too, I might add. I observed one family who were brought to the museum by that very article as they painstakingly studied little Doug. Dad didn't have a clue what it was, kids settled on Dragon or Sprite, and mum suggested it was the 'strangest thing she'd ever seen in her life!' High praise indeed! And a fitting tribute to Arthur's little secret. Attached Image (viewed 84 times):

It looks like a Sea Horse of some type or another. I know that Sea Horses of a large size existed once openly in the seas and oceans of the Earth.

It doesn’t look like seahorses that I’ve seen. The head looks like a horse but this creature has arms and hands.

A centaur attempt? :smirk: That's really neat, I wonder if there have been any genetic tests done on it.

That is good Richard! Seriously that is a weird creature, the five fingers and is that a tail or is its body cut in half? But it has nostrils like a horse and teeth like a dinosaur, does anyone know the size of it?

It does look like a tail. I’m not sure of the size. It looks like the size of a medium size dog. They have a short video of it but they show it show fast that’s it’s hard to tell for sure. They show it for a second at the end of the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hf06SS-yWCc Here's some links
