Finally got to see it! and just found out that it has been in my house for awhile, my hubby kept telling me to watch this film and being so busy never got around to it, then when I was watching it, he said this is what I wanted you to see, funny how the info always finds ways to get to you. it is great and very well presented, I especially liked the way they made energy look, this is what I have been telling people for years, your thoughts go ‘bang’ send out a transmission, it also made me laugh because when the bloke was talking about the car park, this same thing happens to me every single time I go to this particular shopping complex. This is a great starter for anyone who is beginning to take control of their life, it is like the David Icke DVD’s, the way he words his information allows it all to make complete sense. I have put a hyphen in the word disease since I began astrology because disease is really Dis –discomfort/dissatisfaction, etc and ease- it comes as easy as your thoughts and issues. I would really like to get it on DVD, thanks veronica for that link. This is a great starter for anyone to comprehend the universal laws because the law of attraction is only one of these laws, each law entwines with the other because that is how energy is created. I have a friend, who is a teacher in the US, and she is very knowledgeable in brain gym techniques and I am trying so hard to get her here on the forum to help everyone out. I think the secret is very beneficial to all people but especially adolescent to young adults to re-train the brain waves. It is something you can watch over and over, really gives you a boost to believe you are worthy. Thanks everyone

The other thing I forgot to mention is when you do start using this type of information to help you achieve goals, the most important aspect of the energy projected through the law of attraction is its counterpart – the law of reflection – which will reflect your doubts and sadly attract people into your life who amplify those doubts, so the number one necessity to the manifestation of the law of attraction is – Keep it a SECRET. Yes, do not tell anyone what your goals or desires unless you are 100% sure that person would really want you to achieve that goal. If you go tell everyone that you want a new car or job, people will reflect your disbelief and start to question ‘how’, or say directly to you “how do you think you are going to get a new car without money”? Just like they say on the secret - the energy will flow and you have to allow it to continue without projecting negative into it. You must also write it down everyday, train the brain to think in a different manner. It will find a way to come to you, and it will surprise you how each goal or desire follows the systematic structure or as a closed minded person would say “a continual series of coincidences”. There are many universal laws, which are not mentioned in this DVD, but this is a great place to start.

I agree with everything you said Astrejewels. I would like to add that is extremely important to know WHAT do you want and it has to be specified. For example,you may ask for a new job because you hate your present,but if you do not specify what is it that you want from your nwe job,it could happen to you to find the similar,or even worse. My friend knew about the power of subconscienses that is explained in this movie,so he askoed for a new job with morning shift and more money. He found it,but guess what-the job was so difficult that he had to quit. People may ask for a lot of money,but money cannot buy happiness. If they are unhappy and think that money will provide them happiness,they are wrong, That is what I don't remember seeing in the movie. So,it is extremely important to define what do you want. Sometimes,we do not know what we really want. For example,sometimes we think we know what kind of partner we need,so when we find it,we are still unhappy. That is because we do not knot trully know who we are and what we need. Because of that,sometimes is wise to wish for a basic and general things like being happy,healthy,having friends,emotional support,expanding knowledge,learniing about ourselves,etc.,etc...

Karen, I’m glad to hear that you got around to watching The Secret. DT and I liked it so much that we bought the DVD so that we could play it on our TV for friends when they come over. We liked the vision board idea so much that we started one a few days ago.

Hi veronica, Yes, you have words of wisdom, this is what I teach when I do crystal profiles, many people go out and get a particular crystal and use it for a ‘general purpose’ like what you are saying, which you can do but manifesting or visualizing does require specific requests, and be careful what you wish for! This ‘secret’ information is great but if you do not understand universal law as a whole then you can misguide yourself into false belief. Universal law is very similar to police laws – there is one law that can override another or by-laws and clauses. I am not putting a dampener on this whole thing, but you really need to write down things that you want, it is good advice how they say if you want a new car – go to the car yard and sit in it, get a catalogue and take it for a drive, this way it is not a dream, you have physically felt it and can see yourself in it, the hardest part is keeping the positive thoughts going, because after a week you can loose interest that is why you have to be dedicated and write one desire or want at a time, it really is amazing how the energy just processes your wants and sends it to you. Thanks Richard for that link, I will be definitely buying it, mostly for others that have disbelief in their own ability to manifest.

I plan on watching it soon. I had understandings of energy and universal law before but I need to review it to verify it within myself. I have to be careful how my energy is used and I have been told various times not to talk about things as it will help if I just take action and go for it..sometimes thinking can tangle up this energy. I think this is the reason for my frustrations(associated with the root chakra). I was going to try tapping into the root after I clear up my environment(to clear up my mind and frequency). I know if I sometimes dont think, things can happen easier and faster for me..because I already have Oversoul connections and I Just have to LET OVersoul and God lead me with intuition...no need for control...just flow with it!!! It is very wise to not talk about plans or goals!!

I know this video is extremely popular and well-liked. I watched it a while back. I wonder if anyone has slowed it down so it can be viewed frame by frame -- I have often wondered if it has subliminals and what they might be. I'm not trying to discredit the video -- it is just a question which comes to my mind every time I come across mention of it.

Alright, I've been testing the power of positive thinking,to believe that something that I want will come true... In the past,everything I wanted I've done it,because I cautiously formed my fishes. For example,if I wanted a better job,I would say "I will find the job that will be ideal in every way for me" and it worked out. My belief that I can do whatever I want grew so strong that I started wanting more specific things. Finally,my belief that I will get what I want grew so strong that I didn't have absolutely no doubt that I will not make it. That was the first time that I worked on something that I truly wanted and that I didn't have any doubt that I would fail. But,things didn't work out. I was so sure that I would get what I want that I was left completely astonished by the fact that things didn't work out! My confusion has been fed by different assumptions: - did I want the right thing for myself? - maybe I did,but it wasn't the right time? - maybe I should have left some doubt that things would fail after all - or worse;those who control me didn't let me do it If of all above,the las assumption is the most probable, than what is the use of wanting something when those who control us make us wanting something so that we do exactely what they want,or even if we want something-they won't let us do it.

Polly, I agree with you and do believe that there is something in there as it was on television here on Saturday night, so when they put it on free-to-air they want the info out there. I do agree that this production holds many things true and I am no way saying it is misleading and I have always followed the universal laws, the law of attraction is only one of them. But all truth has some type of message for us, we should never literally take the whole product but only part of it, this is with all books, lectures or knowledge that may come our way. There is certainly a very positive message in the secret, but all things require some inner awareness. I have also noticed that many seminars of the power of the mind are popping up.

Veronica, So nice to see you back on board, I was thinking of you and wondering how you were going? Getting what you want and not getting what you want can both give you valuable life lessons, you have always got what you set out in the past and seems that lately you are not achieving these same rewards. It may take some time to realize ‘why’ you did not get what you want and if you stop assuming and questioning then something better will arise. Each assumption, questioning and concern will send out another negative energy thought. The ones who control the world do put a spanner in the works and make life a little more difficult but you must question yourself and why this did not happen, do not blame anyone or anything, this lesson is for you to work out. Personally it has been my failures, heartaches and wrong choices that have always guided me to self and the belief that ‘all things happen for a reason’ it is just having the patience to see why I had to go through the occurrence. I would say that your first two questionings are the ones you should focus on, and never doubt the power of positive thinking. The secret has a great way to explain how the thought is projected, it is energy and even if you feel 99% positive of what you are requesting, you will still have to receive that 1% of doubt back. Because negative has such a large impact, it only amplifies all other fears and makes you feel down. So keep going with your positive power, write a goal sheet, and put it somewhere so each day you can focus on what you really want. Giving the illuminati the control of your failures is victim mentality, they are very happy to take you when you are down, this is the best way to control you, blaming them is giving them power. Another technique that I always find to turn things around, think of someone you know who is ego driven but a part of your life, tell them your problems and things always turn around.

Hi Astrojewels, I always find your explanations beneficial. I agree with everything you wrote. When we do not get what we want, that is exactely what happens - we blame the rest of the world. And that is a victim mentality which if we continue to do,will only attract more and more of similar victim mentality situation. It's so funny what you said about talking to someone who is ego driven, because that was exactely what I did a couple of days ago. Her response was - "maybe the Universe is telling you to slow down and have patience,because you wanted to achive everything in just couple of weeks." And that was exactly what I have found to be a truth. Her words struck me so powerfuly that I really accepted it as a message from the Universal force. I think what happend was that because I was extremely impatient, I basicly forced things to happen,instead of having unconditinal trust in the Universe after I put out my request. I needed some time to realise that what happend to me was only in order to protect me. I am very impatient by nature and I need to learn to live by the flow of curent, here and now,not to force things to come true when it's not a time for such a thing.

Great to see that what started as a disappointing occurrence ended up a lesson in self awareness, you have put faith in yourself and received the response rapidly, this is what is so amazing about life, well done and you should be very proud. Veronica and Karen, I first came across mention of The Secret last summer and at that time I had no interest in watching it which is funny because if someone posts the word "secret" in a title, we all come a-flockin'. The word is a sure hook. :-) People were saying it was info that the ptb's did not want us to know. Even that didn't hook me at the time for some reason. Eventually I figured I should watch it so I could see it for myself, which I did when Richard posted it here several months ago. I didn't see anything I would consider to be a secret in the video. That kind of info has been mainstream for as long as I can remember. I do think there is something about the video which causes endorphin release in the brain. It's like if I read an article about massage or other bodywork my brain will release endorphins, as if I am actually receiving a massage at that moment. It can activate the pleasure principal but I have wondered what is underneath that. I am more inclined toward the thought that there is a time for everything which will vary by individual.

I agree with you Polly, this was also not new to me, but it did remind of my own strength and ability to achieve goals. The more I analyze this type of information and the subliminal could only be- they tell you something positive, like the ‘secret’ tells you to ‘believe’ in self and putting goals in front of you is the only way to make them become reality, this is very true. But I am sure that the subliminal would be to heighten the doubt of that ‘belief’. Personally I do not think the ‘secret’ should be watched too often, watch it and get the intention of the message, set your goals and keep them to yourself, do not share them with anyone who may doubt you or become jealous of your desires. The ‘secret’ has some great tips and positive messages. The other thing is that the ‘truth’ is right in our face, but so many people do not believe it, the power of the mind is the ‘secret’ to life, because once you are able to control triggers, emotions and doubt, the mind controls the flow of energy that is required by the universal law. Once this is mastered all things have reason and understanding, and you do not carry weight of burden, blame, worry, confusion or anticipation and begin to appreciate your life no matter how difficult or challenging. Visualization is a necessity to change the mind pattern, you can not change it by thought alone, we are a balance of physical and non-physical senses and you must feed all six. You see the truth, but your neighbor sees nothing, the ‘secret’ is mainstream to you because you know the truth and are wise to the world, but to your neighbor who may be ignorant, this information is something for him to think about and open his perception. There is always one thing or one person that activates that little spark in a human that puts them on the journey of truth, this journey makes life so much more complex and challenging, but if the ‘secret’ is able to put that spark in one person, that one person will tell others and so on and so on, the more positive we set in motion, the more it will return. I have no doubts of this viewpoint. Cheers
