Hi Sam,

I love your fruit bats! Wish we had them here in London. So cute, ekk eek! Hanging upside down looking all vamp. When I lived in Karachi as a young boy, me and my sister use to spend the evening trying to swipe 'em with our tennis rackets! I know, we were evil children. Bless our cotton hybrid socks.

Pakistan is a country of 170 million people.  Capital city is Islamabad.  Other main cities are Karachi, Lahore, Peshawer, Faisal Abad, Quetta etc. Mainly is a agroicultur -based economy. Military rulers and corrupt politicians have hurt the progress of the country. It is a country of all seasons. You can visit all type of locations in Pakistan, beaches, rivers, mountains, deserts, historical places.

Pakistan is mainly Muslim populated country but Christians, Hindus and followers other regions also live here.

Pakistan is neighboured by China, India, Afghanistan and Iran which makes it very important.

Average Pakistani is very talented but frequent military governments have created frustration in them. A small part of these frustrated youngsters bring bad name to the country.

Better education , discipline and  economy can reduce the frustration of these youngsters and make the country more productive and beneficial to the world.

I am open to any comments and will answer about Pakistan and Islam the religion I follow to the best of my knowledge.

Sameesadiq.....We hear and read the news reports and what our governments tell us. What is the real feeling of what the people in your country, Iraw, Iran, have about the outside military units there.

Perhaps this should be moved to another thread.

In Pakistan, we would not like outside millitary units. Naturally, nobody would like to have foreign millitary in their country. Presence of foreign millitary does not solve any problems. If their presence is necessary it should be working under local government. It should not be used to conquer a country in the name of help.
The citizens of the country should decide how they would like to run their country.

The citizens of the country should decide how they would like to run their country.

Dutch army units in the name of NATO is already present in secret locations in Pakistan, the same is with German and American units.

Even the Netherlands gave Pakistan their nuclear facilities and knowledge to create the atomic bomb in 1998 by Dr. Kahn who took it with him with he help of Holland Signaal company and Dutch Government.

Search for "Dr. Kahn, Almelo, Holland Signal, ultra centrifuge, Frits Veerman" for this.

It is said in Europe, Iran and North Korea got the nuclear knowledge from Pakistan because of this, just all to create fear in the West.

i.e. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7147179

Last months there were protest demonstrations (shown on European TV) in Kabul (Afghanistan), Islamabad and Karachi esp. against the Netherlands and Denmark because they were set up to increase anti-muslim reactions in the West. Likely, Pakistani don't know even these demonstrations happened. It's all for public consumption in the West.

The same happened in Djakarta (Indonesia) and Teheran.

I am in Islamabad and I did not noted any demonstration. May be I don't see Tv?

That is why I said I would not like foreign armies in my country. If they are in Pakistan they should be under local government and should operate in open so that people could exercise their democratic right to accept or reject their presence.

It is sad that American helicoptors enter Pakistan's territories from Afghanistan and fire at will at Schools and marriage ceremonies.
