May I ask - do you mean using caffeine to detox or removing the caffeine from your system? My husband once reached toxic levels of caffeine in his system. We didn't know that was possible but apparently one can overdose on caffeine just like anything else. He had to quit cold turkey and felt pretty bad for about a week. Thanks GertrudaRose. I appreciate your input. I was referring to removing caffeine from the system. I don't like being dependent on anything. I think I'm getting caffeine overload and want to try a detox. Caffeine is classified as drug , I think. I'm not sure what level, but a drug nonetheless. A legal one  . I've heard horror stories comparing it to heroin withdrawal  . At any rate I'm not going cold turkey and will do the most of it after the holidays. Wish me luck?!:nod:

I drink quite a lot of coffee; it helps my digestion system and yes, I'm a little dependent to it to wake up or focus better.
