I recently began working out an illness using past life regression. Some things have come up about some past lives that could be contributing to a kind of Karma from lives with Darkness and Violence. People I have had contacts with in past lives are now in my current life in different relationships. I may be feeling guilt or feelings that I must make amends.. In other instances there is an undercurrent of resentment or anger both me towards them and them towards me. Also, there seem to be instances in which I feel I don't deserve to be healthy. It's too soon to know how this will work out but it is interesting stuff. I 've believed in past lives and one soul , but going this deep is new to me. Do you have any information or opinions on this ?

I have slaughtered enemies mercilessly in past lives, as a warrior. I did my own regression by asking Oversoul. It is a weird feeling to live through that time again. I actually caught a sword between palms, yanked it out, then wielded it to destroy more than a dozen foes. The present me was just shell shocked at my old me's calibre. This must have been thousands of years ago. This did not cause guilt, it was self defence. In the 1960s I was a Vietnam soldier, I saw the burnt villages, and saw a dead child, who has now been reborn as a nephew. Another life showed me harm someone I love, now that made me wake up with what is called cold sweat. Whats more, I was shown that I attempted suicide when I knew of this harm in yet another past life. I had even sacrificed a child in a Tantrik Ritual, early 1900's in India, over some land dispute (too damn clear this regression!). I know who that child is in this life, the most beautiful baby I have ever held, more cherubic than my own child. This regression tore me to emotional bits. However, I am not feeling guilty about that now at all, simply because all of us are alive and well in the now. The mind pattern of self-forgiveness and high self worth tackles all our dark pasts. If we knew better, we would not have acted that bad. Infact, we can change that past by sending positive thoughts to the concerned Oversouls in a parallel Universe. I have seen this too in several visions. You as a Piscean are more prone to feeling guilty, just get over it buddy, in this lifeline, it is just not our fault. Thanks ighunk.... I didn't know I was feeling any guilt until some of these lives were uncovered. I just didn't know what was blocking me from getting better. Evidently, all of our memories of all of our lives are stored in our soul memory. In our individual physical lives, we only know and remember this life. Finding details about other lives takes learning and meditations. Someone is helping me to work through this. I am amazed at how this works. I, too, have had some violent past lives and I had no idea that some of these people are in close relationships with me now. I found out I killed my spouse in another life and we have probably had other past life connections. Some were violent. I guess we found each other in this life to learn how to progress so we could remove obstacles and move on. I hope it works. I have a chronic illness that no health practitioner has been able to help me with. It seems as soon as I find a new life episode I am able to remove any guilt I may have felt. There seems to be layers to get through but this is fascinating stuff.

Bluemoon, This is a great topic, you say one soul but I prefer to think of it as one soul personality as the inner layer of your true intention for re-entry into a physical life, however that personality is layered with the mind-pattern/patterns of all the life-streams that you have experienced, and because I do so much of it with my profiles, I believe it is not the actual event that is carried forth into the next life-stream, but the energy. Let me explain briefly – you killed your spouse in another life, and now you love a person that once you hated, so some would call it karma, but it is not the fact that you killed him, it is necessary to find out why you killed him, and when you did do it how did you feel? This is what is carried through, so if you killed him with guilt, then in this life you will feel a compelling need to continually please him, to try and make it up to him, this is generally talking. In life it is not the event that plagues our minds, it is how that event made us feel or continues to make us feel, like if we are continually think about being hurt by someone 20 years ago, time creates you to become a victim, therefore the structure is formed into the mind-pattern energy. We often take on guilt for what we have done in past lives, but you were in a different era, on a different mission therefore the person you are now would not do the same, it is very necessary when you do delve into past life regression that you do not take on the negative of what you did do, we are all guilty of doing some nasty things. Past life regression is a great way to cleanse the cluttered mind-pattern; however it is necessary to understand that life and why you did the things you did, and also to let go of the energy that binds you to that memory. It is no different to this life and the choices you make, at the time they seemed the right thing to do but occasionally your choice is the wrong one, if you don’t move on from that choice the energy will eat you up.

Karen, you might find this of interest. William Baldwin who wrote Spirit Releasement Therapy, A Technique Manual (one of my most favorite books) and Healing of Lost Souls stated in Lost Souls that after doing past life therapy and spirit releasement therapy with thousands of clients he found that all past and future soul personalities of a person reside mostly dormant in the subconscious mind. I just reread that part yesterday or the day before but may not be able to find it quickly. I'll look though when I am going to be upstairs for a while so I can quote him for you. It has been said that the subconscious mind is vast.

Both of you are so on target with what I have been experiencing..You have worded in a very concise way. Polly..I do believe that soul personalities reside mostly dormant in the subconscoius mind and that mind is so vast it can hold all the unconscious memories. I may look up the book you mentioned to get an even deeper understanding. AJ...Your statement that if you don't "move on" the energy with eat you up is what I guess I've been trying to get across. Illness that can't be resolved by any known methods is, to me, an energy that is eating me up. I am working on getting past this and am making some progress. I am learning to let go of the energy which binds me and it can be very strong at times. I especially liked your statement about layers of mind patterns of all of our life streams. The person I am working with does not advise reliving the energy. He is a very talented individual who helps me find the event and energy and then immediately has me let it go. His knowledge in this and all healing things amazes me really and I am not easily amazed. Thank you for your responses. It's good to hear from others who have opinions on this.

SilverInfinity For a quick answer....the issues are identified , feelings better understood, and let go. Also, for those things we have not identified and might never find, making a positive staement such as "I release all past issues known and unknown that could be causing blockages or interfering with my health and happiness". That is an oversimplification of course. There is a lot to learn about this subject. I can't go into a longer response right now but will try if anyone is interested.

Polly, I agree and have to say that we do subconsciously react/respond from the energy perceived from our past life-streams, and this is why so many people are confused on why they attract or somehow find themselves in situations that make no sense at all. Bluemoon, We all have past life-stream issues, and because most of us are not consciously aware of where/who or what we have done, this energy attracts and builds layer upon layer and this is how your mind-pattern is assembled, it is a pattern of thought that fabricates, and I always find it important to remain ‘open minded’ to the knowledge that comes your way without you searching for it. I feel it is a matter of personal opinion on whether you want to relive it, for me I choose to do so in order to feel the energy in a whole concept, but you have to do it in the only way that you feel comfort from it. The most amazing thing I find about past life-streams is how you find others that shared a life with you, that automatic feeling the moment you set eyes on someone. I wish you luck with your progress, and also that you resolve your physical body of the illness, the mind is a powerful tool, teach yourself to never underestimate what it can actually do.

SI...I wish I could respond to your questions in a more specific way, however, this is a complex subject and, as I mentioned, I am working on this with some help. The person I am working with is intuitive and is very proficient in Channeling. That's how he locates the past lives that are cuasing my blockages. Even then, it is not an exact science. It appears that he gets directed then he uses muscle testing (like in kinesiology) to best check for accuracy on details and if the life he is looking at is the one causing disturbances. Remember we have had many lifetimes and we could be looking at one that isn't causing problems for us. I have also done past life regression in a workshop setting with someone else guiding it. I was able to find those lives myself and followed them up the way AJ describes. The one benefit with this new method is I can work at a faster pace and pull out only the facts I need to know. The other way is good also though and one must use what feels comfortable and right for them and for the moment since sometimes time is a factor when health is an issue. Finding past life streams takes time and practice SI. I hope you continue looking and find it.

I had an unplanned regression during hynosis for pain control, I was a women in both, they both concerned loss, one of a husband to a ship accident, the other to famine in Ireland, losing most of my children. The main thing I took from these was even though there were great loses, I kept going. I try to follow this in my life now. Violet

This is a very interesting discussion! I have always "known" that my soul is very ancient and that I haven't been back here for thousands of years. I would get "glimpses" into past lives off of some triggers, like certain places or things. I have had confirmed by a very good psychic that I have been a tribal healer, medicine woman/man many many times over. I feel that way too, I have always been really drawn to work with herbs, plant extract and essential oils. I am currently developing my own psychic abilities and have become a Reiki Healer! I feel that's what I'm really supposed to be doing. It would be interesting to do some regression work.

I have always had a weight problem from early childhood, and always had the urge to eat if food is around. If no food is available I have no appetite. I also have a fear of getting too close to someone and losing them, also I had no desire to have children. I'm sure some of this goes back to past lives. Thanks for the question, it made me think. Thanks Avatar. If only astrology were researched with true scientific principles and with mathematical probability. Infact, past life regression needs an astrology study prior to the session. Those with too many retrograde planets or negative aspects have had some seriously negative past life actions which can cause emotional damage when unravelled. There is another mysterious subject in astrology, that of "Sabian Symbols". This can illuminate both past life lessons and future life paths.
